PALLETS ARE THE FOUNDATION FOR SAFELY MOVING AND STORING YOUR PRODUCTS
We typically begin the design process by first understanding your pallet application and the environment you will be working in. From there we go through iterative design reviews until everyone is comfortable with the pallet design. We test this design using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to make are we can meet your load carrying requirements and deflection requirements. Once the design is complete we:
- Build one to two prototypes
- Thoroughly test the prototypes
- After making minor modifications learned from the prototypes, we build the production quantity of pallets
Custom Pallet Projects
Pallet Type: Hydroponic Tray Pallet (Automated System)
Industry: Plant-Based Meats
In this application we built pallets 56” Long by 40” Wide by 5.56” High capable of carrying trays stacked 20 high in a highly automated environment. The automation required very tight tolerances. The maximum weight was 1000 lbs. per pallet with a maximum deflection of ¼”. There were four (4) positioning holes for interfacing to an automated shuttle. The pallet was designed to be washed down.
Pallet Type: Rental Equipment Field Pallet
Industry: Rental Equipment for Industrial Buildings
In this application we built pallets 100” Long by 75” Wide by 5.56” High to carry heavy rental equipment. It was designed to meet the rigorous life of a construction pallet including loading and unloading of heavy equipment.
