Shipping Policy – Artistic Composite Pallets LLC

At Artistic Composite Pallets, we strive to provide accurate and transparent shipping costs while ensuring reliable delivery of all orders.

Freight Charges at Checkout

Shipping (freight) charges are calculated and billed at checkout.

  • Freight rates at checkout are based on current carrier pricing
  • Final freight charges are subject to carrier confirmation and may differ from checkout estimates
  • Additional freight-related charges may apply after shipment

These may include:

  • Fuel surcharges
  • Liftgate or special delivery services
  • Detention or delay fees
  • Re-delivery or missed appointment charges

Any additional charges will be invoiced separately or added to the final invoice.

Shipping Terms (FOB)

All shipments are FOB (Freight on Board) from Artistic Composite Pallets’ facility unless otherwise stated.

  • Ownership and risk transfer to the customer once the product leaves our facility

Shipping Timelines

  • All shipping dates are estimates only and not guaranteed
  • Lead times may vary based on production schedules, materials, and order complexity
  • Orders requiring First Article approval will ship only after approval is completed

Order Processing

  • Orders enter production upon receipt of Purchase Order and required down payment
  • Delays in approvals, payments, or design confirmations may impact shipping timelines

Receiving & Inspection

Customers are responsible for inspecting shipments upon delivery.

  • Any visible damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery
  • Claims for damage, shortages, or discrepancies must be reported within 10 days of delivery

Shipping Damage & Claims

  • If freight is arranged by Artistic, we will assist with claims, but the carrier is responsible for final resolution
  • If the customer arranges freight, all claims must be filed directly with the carrier

Partial Shipments

Artistic reserves the right to make partial shipments when necessary. Each shipment may be invoiced separately.

Delays & Force Majeure

Artistic Composite Pallets is not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to transportation issues, labor disruptions, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
