Our plastic pallet slave board (Transfer Board) is often used in automated systems for dimensional consistency and washdown capability. The slave boards can be reversible and provided with hand holes. Our standard dimensions are 48” long by 40” wide by 1 ¼” high, but with our modular construction we can customize slave boards to meet your requirements. Typically, slave boards are captive (closed loop) and remain within the manufacturer’s facility. Our slave pallets can be bar coded on the sides for easy identification. The shell of our slave board is twin sheet thermoformed plastic with an internal pultruded fiberglass structural frame. All materials used in construction are FDA approved.
Our Washdown Plastic Pallets are Tough and Built to Last
In automated closed loop systems, our pallets should last as long as the automation equipment. For open loop picking and truck transport, a typical useful life span of 50 trips. Artistic Composite Pallet continues to be the pallet of choice for many industries requiring a clean environment. High sanitation areas for food, beverage, or pharmaceuticals must eliminate any possible contamination sources. Our pallets are washdown capable which eliminates the need to fumigate or heat treat like the wood pallet.
